New reservation inventory is available when the reservation window rolls over at 8am, Monday - Friday and 9am, Saturday – Sunday.

Do all bookings in the shopping cart have to be in the same park with the same arrival and departure dates?
On the home page, begin by filling out steps 1. to 5., and click on reserve. The next page will display contents of the shopping cart and allow you to add another site by clicking on the 'Add Another Booking' link. You may continue to add bookings up to the maximum number allowed. You may also change and delete bookings, or start payment on any booking. Once you have completed a successful payment transaction on the first booking, you must return to the shopping cart and pay for each booking until all bookings have been completed. To access all unpaid bookings, select the link ‘View Cart’ located on the right of the top menu bar.
Can I pay for all bookings in the shopping cart together?
No. Each booking can be from different parks, campgrounds, or harbors, and have different arrival and departure dates. When adding additional bookings, make sure to confirm the selected location and dates on the home page. This is ideal for campers or boaters who are planning on visiting several different destinations during their vacation.
I need a site with water and sewer hookups. How can I tell which sites have services?
Yes. All bookings in your shopping cart can be paid together. If you wish, you can also pay for each booking separately. Each booking will have its own unique booking number and confirmation letter.
What is the fastest way to finding a site?
There are some optional filters available at the bottom of the reservation preferences panel on the left that allow you to include or exclude sites based on certain criteria. If, for example, you want a site with water and sewer hookups, but one that is not an ADA designated site, you can choose to Include the Water and Sewer options and Exclude the ADA Designated Site options. The maps, lists and grids will then show only the sites that meet your choices in green.
I have a favorite site. How can I tell when it is available?
There are several tools available to help you find a site. The fastest way is to fill out the information you know - your reservation type, party size etc. then click on Find a Site. You can also use additional search preferences (click on the arrow button beside More Search Preferences). This allows you to filter the results to show only certain site types or to exclude certain site types.
All the sites are showing as not available for my dates. What can I do to find what dates may be available?
This website provides several tools to help you with your stay. If you are looking for availability for your favorite site, the easiest way is to select the park and campground in from the drop down menus and then select the site. You can also use the map browser to drill down to the site you are interested in. You can then click on the Site Details button and you will have the option of viewing a Site Calendar for the site. The Site Calendar will show you when the site is available and allow you to scroll the dates to see the whole season at a glance. If you have a favorite camping area, the Partial/Availability Calendar View will show you which site availability for the selected area. Harbor slips can be reserved, but your actual slip will be assigned by the harbormaster when you arrive.
All the sites on the grid show restrictions. What does this mean?
If you have entered dates, the Map and Availability List view will show you sites that are available for the whole of your requested stay. If you don’t see a site you like, you can adjust your dates to quickly see availability for the new dates, or you can look use the Partial/Availability Calendar view to see whether there are any sites that are available for part of your selected dates.
Why do I have to call the park to reserve group camps and modern lodges?
A site that shows as yellow on the map, calendar or list means that the site is available for the dates you have selected, but that the site does not meet your current reservation preferences. If you click on the site details it will show you what is restricting the site. It is usually the reservation type, equipment size or party size. If you have used the More Search Preferences, these options will also affect the site restrictions.
I made a reservation through the call center. How do I view it online?
Some sites - especially lodges have special restrictions or requirements in place that mean that you have to call the park directly to reserve them. You can still use the tools online to see information for these sites but you have to call the park to reserve.
How do I change or cancel my reservation?
If you already have an online account, you should be able to see your reservation by logging in to the My Reservations section of the website. If you don't have an online account, you can create one - click on My Reservations and follow the link to register a new account. If you use the same name and address information you used when you made your reservation, you should then be able to access your reservations online. If you still cannot see your bookings, the call center booking may have been made under a different user account. You will have to call the call center to confirm or change the booking.
How do I pay by e-check?
To change or cancel a reservation, you must 'Sign In' to your account and select 'My Reservations'. You can then select the booking you want to change or cancel by clicking the 'Reservation No. Details' link. On the booking detail page, you have the option to change or cancel the reservation using the 'Quick Links' on the right.

Reservation Cancellations and Modifications
Customers may change or cancel a reservation through the reservation call center or online with a registered account. The reservation fee is non-refundable and additional cancel fees will apply.
• After the date a reservation is created, campsite reservations cannot be canceled or modified more than 5 months prior to the arrival date.
• Prior to establishing a camp, if a customer chooses to cancel, or modify by shortening their stay, the following fees will be assessed:
1. $10 cancel/modification fee, and,
2. Percentage of eligible unused camp night fees, based on number of months the reservation has been held (see Cancellation/Modification Formula chart below)
a. If canceled or modified prior to the reservation arrival date, all unused camp nights will be eligible for refund less the percentage value indicated in the Cancellation/Modification Formula Chart.
b. If canceled on the day of arrival or later, the first night’s fee and the value of any additional past nights are forfeited; any remaining unused nights will be eligible for refund less the percentage value indicated in the Cancellation/Modification Formula Chart.
c. No-Show Reservations are held until 3pm, two days after the scheduled arrival date. If not checked in, no-show reservations will be cancelled resulting in a loss of 2 nights fees. Any remaining unused nights will be eligible for refund less the percentage value indicated in the Cancellation/Modification Formula Chart.
Cancellation/Modification Formula Chart
• Reservations that are cancelled on the same day they are created will be assessed the $10 cancel/modification fee
• Modifications to reservations that do not affect the length of stay, will only be assessed the $10 cancel/modification fee.
• Modifications to reservations that results in an increase in the length of stay, will NOT be charged a cancel/modification fee.
Reducing number of nights after a camp is established at the park
• Once a camp has been checked in at the park, if a customer chooses to reduce their stay or check out early, any refund due will be calculated as follows:
1. The value of unused nights less the percentage value indicated in the Cancellation/Modification Formula Chart.
2. Time of day customer is checking out
a. If before 1PM, that night’s camp fees will be included in the refund formula
b. If after 1PM, that night’s camp fees will NOT be refunded.
Changes and cancellations cannot be made more than 11 months in advance of the arrival date. The $8 reservation fee included in the initial reservation is non-refundable.
Cancellations made any time after processing this reservation until the close of business the day before your scheduled arrival date will incur a $10 cancellation fee. If you cancel on your day of arrival or later, you forfeit the first night's lodging fee plus the non-refundable reservation fee, and pay a $10 cancellation fee.
Reservations are held until 3pm two days after your scheduled arrival date. If arriving after 3pm two days after your scheduled arrival date, you must modify the reservation to delay the arrival date or cancel the reservation. Penalties will apply. If your reservation is made via the call center, the reservation fee will be $10. If your reservation is made on the website, the reservation fee will be $8.

Can I view maps or make backcountry reservations on the mobile site?
Confirmation letters are delivered via email within 24 hours of making a reservation online or through the call center.
If you have not received your confirmation letter within this time period, the following steps can be followed:
First, verify that the confirmation letter was not sent to your 'spam/junk' email folder.
You then have the option to have the confirmation letter re-emailed to you via the reservation website (online) or through the Call Center.
If using the reservation website, you MUST have an online account for this. If you don't have an online account, you can create one - click on ‘My Reservations’ and follow the links for New Customers.
Once you are logged into your online account, you should be able to see your reservation under the ‘My Reservations’ section of the website. (If you use the same name and address information you used when you made your reservation, you should then be able to access your reservations online.)
Select the reservation number details link and once at the reservation details page, select 'Email Confirmation Letter' under the quick links section.
If you still cannot see your bookings online, the call center booking may have been made under a different user account. You will have to contact the call center and request to have the confirmation letter resent to you.
